The Doctrine of Spirituality vs. Carnality
The Stream of Consciousness – Part 2
5. Conscience
The conscience is the compartment of the norms, standards, and priorities related to the absolutes of Bible doctrine. The Greek word for conscienceis “sundeidesis,” which means to know with an absolute standard. Conscience is defined as the mental faculty by which one distinguishes between right and wrong and makes all related decisions under the filling of the Holy Spirit, which motivates to do what is right and restrains from doing what is wrong. In order words, doing a right thing in a right way.
Doctrine enters your frame of reference and becomes part of your vocabulary. From this doctrine you establish norms and standards which are categorized. The absolutes of your conscience are the direct result of metabolized Bible doctrine. When you go in the opposite direction from your conscience, you enter into a fragmented spiritual life, the trends of the sin nature, and the lust pattern of the sin nature. (Romans 2:15; Acts 23:1; I timothy 1:19)
The conscience of the unbeliever, living under the arrogance skills, haunted by strong delusion, destroyed by unrealistic expectation, is described in Titus 1:15, “To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their thinking and their conscience is defiled.” The defiling of the conscience is illustrated in Romans 1:18-23.
A believer in reversionism damages his conscience by rejecting the truth of the Word of God over a prolonged period of time producing “scar tissue” in the soul. (I Timothy 4:1-2) Cleansing your conscience from scar tissue as stated in Hebrews 9:14 is by growing up spiritually, which is the meaning of the phrase “cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.” You grow up by means of the filling of the Holy Spirit, metabolization of Bible doctrine, having doctrine on the FLOT line of your soul, and application of doctrine through utilization of the Problem-Solving Devices.
6. The Momentum Department
Metabolized doctrine circulating in the stream of consciousness originates and is the basis for the function of two great things in your soul. First, is a mirror in the soul for private and personal self-evaluation. It is a system by which a believer applies doctrine to himself. Second, is a system of the Ten Problem-Solving Devices on the FLOT line of your soul to handle all problems and difficulties in life. You will never have a problem that was not covered in eternity past in your very own Portfolio of Invisible Assets. Negative volition guarantees a miserable life. With these Problem-Solving Devices there is nothing in this life which cannot be resolved. Any attempt to apply doctrine to experience apart from these Ten Problem-Solving Devices results in heresy, distortion, and antagonism to the spiritual life.
Metabolized doctrine circulating in the stream of consciousness is the basis for momentum in the spiritual life. The momentum department of the stream of consciousness is the area of spiritual growth which results in execution of the Protocol Plan of God for the Church and maximum glorification of God. Maximum glorification of God comes with the advanced spiritual life. There are four objectives in the spiritual life: 1) a personal sense of destiny 2) developing a personal sense of destiny into occupation with Christ 3) reaching spiritual maturity 4) developing spiritual maturity into maximum glorification of God.
The analogy to momentum is found in the following verses: I Peter 2:2. “Like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation.” II Peter 3:18, “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity.” II Timothy 3:16, “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” The mirror of God’s Word corrects us and trains us in virtue.
There are two categories of the momentum department of the stream of consciousness: 1) normal spiritual growth through perception and metabolization of doctrine 2) accelerated spiritual growth, which adds the function of the Problem-Solving Devices on the FLOT line of the soul. Accelerated spiritual growth is related to the use of these Problem-Solving Devices plus testing for blessing. The ministry of the pastor-teacher in the function of the momentum department is mentioned in Ephesians 4:15, “But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him Who is the head, even Christ.”A pastor cannot make anyone grow up spiritually; you have to accept or reject doctrine yourself. The all aspects are the power options of the filling of the Holy Spirit and Bible doctrine. II Thessalonians 1:3, “We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brethren, as is only fitting, because your faith is greatly enlarged, and the love of each one of you toward one another grows ever greater.” The Greek word for grows is “huperauzano” meaning “super growth.” It means to grow spiritually in a magnificent way, to increase abundantly and it is used only once in Scripture. You cannot live by biblical principles until you have metabolized doctrine circulating in your stream of consciousness and you have deployed the Problem-Solving Devices on the FLOT line of your soul. No believer lives the spiritual life until they live by God’s principles. Those principles come from metabolized doctrine in your stream of consciousness. These principles are the basis for using the Problem-Solving Devices. (Acts 12:24)
7. The Wisdom Department
Wisdom is the application of metabolized Bible doctrine to your experiences after salvation. Therefore, the wisdom department is the direct connection to the FLOT line of the soul. The wealth of God is measured in wisdom, in principle and in thought which adds up to Divine Viewpoint Thinking (Bible doctrine). The key to spiritual wealth is Bible doctrine. God lavished on us the riches of His grace by means of wisdom. (Ephesians 1:7-8)
It is the mentorship of God the Holy Spirit which takes Bible doctrine and converts it into wisdom. Wisdom is the greatest wealth a believer can have, which is the application of God’s Word circulating in your stream of consciousness. This is the treasure that Jesus spoke about in Matthew 6. At the Judgment Seat of Christ every believer will see how much wealth he or she has accumulated while on earth or how much wealth they missed by not executing their spiritual life. (Colossians 1:9)
God has provided spiritual wealth to replace all the human viewpoint in your stream of consciousness. True wealth is sharing the happiness of God and occupation with Christ which comes from doctrine circulating in your soul and applied on your FLOT line. (Proverbs 2:2, 10)
The circulation of Bible doctrine in the seven compartments of the stream of consciousness by means of the filling of the Holy Spirit is spiritual wealth. You really have an “empty soul” until you fill it with Bible doctrine. God is an expert in solving problems, therefore He provided solutions to all your problems through metabolized doctrine in your stream of consciousness. Spiritual wealth is the wisdom you gain from Bible doctrine applied to your life that results in capacity for blessing and happiness and makes you a different person.
Wisdom is applying the Problem-Solving devices accurately and objectively to our experiences and circumstances. Doctrine does you absolutely no good unless it is applied. Wisdom means that you have taken control of your own spiritual life and have developed spiritual values, spiritual principles and spiritual absolutes.
When wisdom deploys the Problem-Solving Devices, a believer wins the battle for control of the soul. Problem-Solving Devices eliminate sin in the soul, stress in the soul, false doctrine in the soul and wrong solutions. Divine solutions are the only solutions for a believer.
Wisdom is looking into the mirror of the Word of God to provide an accurate evaluation of your spiritual life before God without the influence of Human Viewpoint Thinking. Self-evaluation on a consistent basis is imperative for a believer who wants to reach and maintain spiritual maturity.
